Mother’s Day Six Hour Run/Walk Success for 20th year

The 20th edition of the annual 6 – Hour Run/ Walk for Breast Cancer took place again this year.

The fundraiser is annually held at Bradley Palmer State Park and raises funds for The Hunt Breast Center.   All monies raised through pledges and contributions are to fight breast cancer.  Many thanks go out to the volunteers of Gil’s Athletic Club, who host the event.

The run was won by Scott Traer, running 45 miles in the 6 hour time limit while Jenny Hoffman finished with the most miles for a woman at 36.

A beautiful day on a new course with nearly 200 runners and walkers.  Another great year.  Thanks for coming!
