McDougal and Suszek Win at Nueces 50

Rocksprings, Texas, March 3. Jordan McDougal and Michele Suszek won the Nueces 50 in Texas hill country west of Austin, which served as the USATF 50 Mile Trail Championship. McDougal, the former Liberty University track standout, bested Dave James for the win. Suszek was pressed only by fellow Coloradan Melanie Fryar, as the two finished two hours in front of the rest of the women. Runners were treated to ideal weather, sunny and a high of about 60F.
