San Diego, CA, June 8. Tom Nielsen of nearby Escondido won the 7th annual San Diego 100-Run on June 8. Nielsen led wire-to-wire and edged Andrew Heard of Phoenix by 17 minutes. Gina
Natera-Armento of Oceanside won the women’s race in her first 100-miler. Lisa Huerta of Fairfield, CA, ran a steady race to take second, with Seattle’s Jess Mullen finishing third in an exciting battle
with Kristen Farley and Marta Arato.
