All-Time North American Ultra Lists
Below we publish a list of the all-time best modern-day North American performers for various standard ultra distances. In a few cases the runners concerned are citizens of countries other than their country of residence; where we know that information we list their citizenship in parentheses. This list attempts to contain all residents of North America, regardless of citizenship.
We are careful to call these performances “bests” and not “records”, as many have not been certified by USATF or any other governing body. To the best of our knowledge all of the marks listed are legitimate. Please let us know of any additions, corrections or clarifications to this list.
